Welcome to the online home of ACW. First of all, ACW is a backyard wrestling
federation located in Southern Albany, ACW stands for Albany Championship
Wrestling. Now, let's get one thing clear, we are indeed a backyard federation.
Yet, we do not support unpretty behaviors such as jumping (falling) off a
50 foot barn or anything of those types. We are a wrestling federation, unlike
what you see on TNN. We support the old school wrestling scene - AWA, NWA,
ECW, IWA, and Japanesse Wrestling. Many of also support the great new wrestling federation out of Philly known as Ring Of Honor. ACW wrestlers Kid Lipid, Jim Fullington and Mitch Morrison have all made trips to Philly to see this great promotion. We do not support sports entertainment.
We don't say we are the most "hardcore", the most "extreme". But we will
say we are better then the rest. So take a look around, and if you disagree
with anything we have to say then do the most common thing and send us a
email.
NEWS FLASH: Snow Brawl 2002
ACW returns tonight! December 14th, 2002. In it's five year anniversery show with a first ever Snow Brawl Three Way Dance. There have only been two previous Snow Brawl bouts in ACW history. The first consisted of Mitch Morrison versus Jerry Anderson, where Morrison came out victor. And Mitch Morrison versus Ishmeal Insane, where again Mitch MOrrison came out with the victory. But tonight we see if Mitch Morrison can fight off Ishmeal Insane and Jim Fullington! Check in later for match results.
